God Keeps Us in His Own Hands

Cover of Daily Thoughts of Comfort

Today's Devotional

In faithfulness you have afflicted me —Psalm 119:75 (ESV).

The Lord will trust no one to keep his people but himself; he loves them too well to leave them in any hands but his own, and will afflict them as he thinks best.

Then give me any lot,
I’ll bless thy just decree;
So thou art not forgot,
And I may ne’er dependent be
On any friend my God, but thee!
